FAQ

Questions Dealers Ask

Straight answers from the dealer who built the system. Every answer describes what the product does today, not what is on a roadmap.

Getting started

What does AnyDealerOS cost?
Three plans, month to month: Starter at $599, Dealer at $999 and Premium at $1,499 a month, with a one-time setup fee that covers migration and training. Founding dealers get the Dealer plan at $599 for 12 months. The pricing page has the full breakdown.
Is there a contract?
No. Every plan is month to month, and your data is yours to export at any time.
How long does it take to get set up?
It depends on how clean your current data is and how many departments you run. Setup is done with a person, not a help article: discovery, account setup, migration, QuickBooks mapping, training and two weeks of go-live support.
Can you move my data from my current system?
Yes. Inventory and customers import from a CSV export with a column-mapping step and a dry-run preview that shows exactly what will be created or updated before anything is written. Re-running the same file changes nothing, so a botched export is not a disaster.
Do I need to install anything?
No. AnyDealerOS runs in a browser on any computer, tablet or phone, and it can be added to a phone’s home screen like an app.

Sales

Does it write buyers orders?
Yes. Deals carry the buyer, the unit from VIN decode, the trade, pricing, fees, tax and add-ons, and print a buyers order ready for the customer.
Can I send a quote the customer can accept?
Yes. A quote goes out by email with add-ons and a trade value. The customer accepts, asks a question or says they are ready, and the deal starts from what they accepted.
Does it handle financing?
Deals record the lender, APR, term, monthly payment and payment method, and the F&I products sold. Funding is gated so a deal cannot be delivered before the money is in.
Is there a pipeline board?
Yes. Every open opportunity sits on a board by stage, with a follow-up queue and drafted replies a person edits and sends.

Service

How do repair orders work?
Every line has a complaint, a cause and a correction, with parts, labor and photos. The RO moves across a board by status, and the customer can check its stage from a link on their phone.
Can customers approve estimates online?
Yes, line by line. They approve the work they want, sign on their phone, and can pay a deposit from the same link. The signed copy is stored on the repair order.
Can customers book service online?
Yes. A booking form on your website collects the unit, the problem and photos, and lands as a pending appointment on your calendar.
Is there a shop schedule?
Yes. A daily schedule shows bays per lot, lets you drag jobs onto bays and technicians, and prints a day sheet for the shop.
Does it track parts?
A parts catalog with markup and lot location. Parts on a repair order move catalog stock when added or removed, and parts requests with photos go to the counter.

Rentals and consignment

Can I run rentals in the same system?
Yes. A booking board from request to returned, rental agreements signed from a phone, payments and refunds on the booking, and renters on the same customer record as buyers.
What does consignment cover?
A file from the first call, an intake checklist that catches title and lien problems, the owner agreement signed online, the unit on your lot like any other, and a final settlement sheet when it sells. Consignors get a weekly report.

Money and communication

Does it connect to QuickBooks?
Yes, two-way with QuickBooks Online. Repair orders, deals, payments, refunds and consignor payouts post through an outbox with account mapping your bookkeeper controls and a daily digest. Today the connection runs for a single dealership while Intuit reviews the app for multi-dealer use.
Can I take card payments?
Customers pay deposits and balances from a link. Card processing is billed by the processor, and per-dealer card accounts are part of onboarding.
Can I text customers?
Yes. Two-way texting and calling from the customer record, with every message logged. Your dealership gets its own registered number during onboarding.
Which documents can be signed electronically?
Service estimates, quotes, rental agreements, consignment agreements and delivery paperwork, all with no per-document fee.

Your data

Who can see my data?
Your dealership only. Each dealer’s data is separated at the database level, and staff roles decide who inside your store sees what.
Is my data backed up?
Yes. The database is backed up daily, and your data can be exported at any time.
Can my staff use it on their phones?
Yes. It runs in any browser and installs to a phone’s home screen. Technicians clock in from a PIN kiosk, and customer-facing links work on any device.
What if something breaks?
You reach a person, not a ticket queue. Every plan includes support, and Premium includes priority support.
